Here comes the latest news for GST, now in 2017-18 budget in J&K,govt want to bring real estate,petrol,liquor and electricity under GST. This budget comes in January, this make J&K the first Indian state that is doing this the first in all. For this the high level meeting is taking place in J&K to make it more and more clear about the tax on other items also.


  • Once this tax is implemented all the related business get tax benefit from tax rebates.
  • Also it is clear deducted that this decision can replace value-added-tax(VAT) on fuel, excise duty on liquor also duties on electricity and stamp duty on land.
  • Also these is statement comes that central govt considers the Real estate comes under gst.
  • At present there is 2 kinds of GST running SGST and CGST as state govt gst and central govt gst.
